1 cup white flour
1/2 tsp. salt
4 tsp. baking powder
1 cup cornmeal
1 egg, beaten
1/4 cup molasses
1 cup milk
1/4 cup vegetable oil

Cooking Instructions

Sift flour, salt, and baking powder. Add cornmeal, and mix. Combine egg, molasses, and milk. Stir into dry ingredients. Add oil; mix. Pour into greased 9x13 pan, or a good ole cast iron skillet. Bake at 400 degrees F for 25 minutes.
